Lunchtime Supervisor

Hours: 5hrs per week (Overtime is often available)
Pay Scale: G1, SCP 2
Actual Salary: Pro-rata Salary = £2,685 (£23,656 FTE)
Start Date: September 2025
Woodlands Academy of Learning is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our lunch team from September 2025.
The successful candidate will:
- Be energetic, fair and positive
- Manage children’s behaviour effectively
- Promote “Happy Lunchtimes”
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Supervise children on the playground
- Be an excellent role model
- Engage children in structured adult-led play and activities
- Support with family service and supervision of children during meal times
- Encourage children’s healthy eating
- Meet individual children’s needs
- Be a first aider
Previous experience of working in a primary school would be desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided.
(Current requirement approximately 5 hours a week), Monday to Friday, Term Time only, the successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic team that work hard to ensure the 400+ pupils at Woodlands have an enjoyable lunchtime.
